ABOUT ME

As a child, I grew up in Mills River just off Butler Bridge Road.  I participated in youth sports and obtained my  black belt at the age of eleven in Taekwondo.  Martial Arts training instills values of respect, discipline, patience and the ability to set and accomplish goals which had a significant impact on the person I am today. I attended Mills River Elementary, Rugby Middle and West Henderson High School.  

 

 In May of 2000, I graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Business Management.  The greatest attribute I acquired from my college education was the skill to forge and understand the importance of building professional relationships. I use these attributes daily, in my professional and personal life, and will continue to forge relationships that benefit the Mills River community.         

 

My professional career started at Kimball Communications, Inc., a family owned small business.   Our company serves the citizens of Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina through our support of local, state and federal public safety agencies and commercial sectors.  Outside of work I enjoy playing golf and traveling.   I have attended Biltmore Church in Arden for over 24 years. It is through my Christian values, commitment to family, friends and community that I am able to love and serve my community despite any personal differences.
